I was born in Sioux City, Iowa, grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Played high school American football, ice hockey and baseball! Went to university of South Dakota, 1967,  on a football scholarship, the first year I paid for myself, then received the scholarship. Graduated in 1971. Worked in various jobs and ended up in California looking for fame and fortune! Accepted Jesus and was going to set up my own business, but God had other plans! Ended up in Hawaii doing DTS (Discipleship Training School) Met my wife, Jean there and after a few years went to Japan. Have been there for almost 40 years!

10 children, 19 grandchildren, adopted, fostered and biological.

Experience:

Sales jobs before following Jesus. King’s Kids leader, helped start it, YWAM base leader, national director, east Asian leadership team member, ministry leader YNET in Tokyo, started a business in Japan, teacher and preacher in many parts of the world and currently on the University of the Nation college of Arts and Fitness leadership team! Restarted it about 12 years ago!
